Shipping & Delivery

Standard shipping costs throughout South Africa are calculated based on the order’s weight and the customer’s location

All products purchased will be shipped to the supplied delivery address within 3-5 working days of purchase.

Returns & Exchanges

Any product may be returned for credit, exchange, or refund within 90 days from the date of purchase, provided that the merchandise is unused and is returned with the original labels and in its original packaging (where applicable). We also require the original receipt or invoice. Returns/exchange shipping charges will be for buyer’s account.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in the event of the product being damaged, not fit for sale or missing any accessories or parts.

Products Not Eligible for Returns

The following products are not eligible for a refund, return, exchange, or credit:

• products which have been personalised, or made to your specifications, unless they are found to be defective.

International Orders

We can ship internationally.

Defective products

We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality and free from defects.

What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product, or any characteristic of a product which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.

The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return:

faults resulting from normal wear and tear;

damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;

damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;

damage arising from any alterations made to the product.

If you have received a defective product, please contact us on sales@dirtroad.co.za to arrange for a replacement/repair/refund.

Miscellaneous

In the event that any items in your order are out of stock at the time your order is packed, we will notify you via email and refund you for those items.

All orders sent require a signature upon delivery.

Please note, as all our products are handmade, slight colour variations may occur in different batches of leather, canvas, and cotton from time to time. In these instances, the variations will not be considered as “defects”. Tick marks, scars, and scratches that you may find on our leather products are natural and will also not be considered as “defects”.

Privacy & Security

Please note that Dirt Road Outfitters does not disclose any of your personal details to other companies or individuals. We do not keep a record of, or store, any part of your credit card details.

Dirt Road Outfitters does keep records of certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, contact details, shipping address and billing address. This information is necessary in processing your order.
